Emergent Networks Named one of the 50 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Twin Cities for 2012

Emergent Networks Ranks No. 23 on the 2012 Fast 50 List with Three-Year Sales Growth of 113.83%

BURNSVILLE, October 19, 2012 – Burnsville, Minn. based Emergent Networks, a local Information Technology consulting company, announced that it has been named by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal to the Fast 50 list of fastest-growing private companies in the Twin Cities metro area. This is the first year that Emergent Networks has earned this distinction.

The list of this year’s Fast 50 honorees was announced during an awards ceremony on October 18 and published October 19 in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Organizations secured a place on this year’s Fast 50 list based on their revenue growth between 2009 and 2011. Emergent Networks’ growth of 113.83% during this period ranked them as the 23rd fastest growing privately held company in the Twin Cities metro area.

“Emergent Networks can credit our growth to great clients who continue to recognize the value of the partnership we provide them through technology consulting,” said Gary Anderson, CEO of Emergent Networks. “Our philosophy is if an infrastructure is architected correctly and the right products are used, it will minimize the amount of ongoing support and maintenance required over the life of the solution.”

To qualify for the Fast 50 list, companies must be independently owned and privately held, headquartered in the Twin Cities metro area, experience year-over-year revenue growth for each of the past three completed fiscal years, and have revenue of at least $1 million in the first of the three most recent fiscal years.
